I hope someone can help me with this issue. I’m on my second Tour having had trackball issues with number one and now number 2. My current Tour is experiencing intermittent trackball issues and I’m considering replacing it. I’m wondering when I reinstall backed up data, files and programs from my current Tour onto the new one will the backup process also configure the new one to my current preferences settings (home screen wallpaper, caller ID ringtones, custom email alerts, ……..) I’m weighing the pain in the rear of completely reconfiguring another Tour (unless the backup install handles it for me) over my trackball freezing once or twice a day.

Yes all of that will transfer over. Only thing you will not get is third party apps you downloaded on first one.
