Default Tour Splash Screen - 10-24-2009, 07:38 AM

As the Tour was only available in North America, do all Tours have a carrier splash screen (i.e. when you load up BB Browser for example) or does it just have the standard white background with BlackBerry logo...

Was wanting to upgrade to a new BB but can'tas my contract expires in May 2010

Had: 8700g, 9000, 8220, 9500, 8110
Have: 8520 Curve

In that order! Missing 3G

Mine doesnt expire till June 2010! lol
Every blackberry sold by a carrier has a startup image from that carrier.
Only SIM FREE UNLOCKED versions from Amazon, ebuyer, sites like that, that have NO carrier branding, will have a standard startup screen.

The tour isnt going to play nice.
Despite being GSM for europe, the CDMA part may play some havok with you.

OS 5 has a blackberry boot screen but it will end with your carriers splash. Does it really matter?
