please help a real computer illiterate i can not get this wiping program to work iam running vista some one please help and make it real easy thank you:

You really do need to explain your issue in more detail.
Have you downloaded AND installed JLCmder to your PC?
On Vista, are you installing it with Administrator rights? (right click on the installer icon and choose).

If you're "illiterate" as you say, why would you be jumping straight to jl_cmder? How about using the more "illiterate" friendly Desktop Manager? What's wrong with the device?
