Default Help opening my camera app! - 10-24-2009, 05:33 PM

I have the BB Tour 9630, I got it just a couple of days ago. Everything was working perfectly on it, but today I tried to open up my camera app and kept getting an error: "Could not start the camer. Close other applications and try opening the camera again."

...thing is, I don't have any other applications open. I went in an closed each and every one of them and still get the same thing. I turned my phone off and then back and the same thing.

Since I'm new to this, maybe I'm doing something wrong? All i want to do is take a picture!

Has anyone had this problem or is it just me?? Help, please!

Wirelessly posted (My blond BlackBerry)

Try removing the media card and/or doing a battery pull and see if that helps.

Thnxx, I actually got it to work right after posting the question. I googled how to do a soft reset and that did the trick.

Thnx again tho, I appreciate it!

Slacker radio and some other programs have been known to cause the problem if they have been run, even if closed. They probably eat into memory which is not restored when they are closed. The battery pull or soft reset will generally work.
