Post E-mail body in TXT file - 11-04-2009, 09:24 AM

I occasionally receive e-mails on the Tour where the body of the e-mail is stored as a TXT file that I cannot open. Is this a result of the format? Can anyone tell me if there is a fix?

Is the text file attached to the email?

What do you mean "body of the email is stored"?

Yes it is attached to the e-mail. The TXT file contains the body of the e-mail. Example:

You send me an e-mail saying hello Mike. I get the e-mail, do not see "hello mike". it is is an attached TXT file and I cannot open it.

This was a known bug in the original version of the software for the Tour. (Actually a two-part bug, with one part being a problem on the sender's side.)

Upgrade your Tour to the most recent version of the handheld OS and this issue should go away.

Might this be part of the issue as well:

If so, software that you've installed may be part of the problem.
