Default Call Volume issues

Hi

I have been using 9630 tour thru sprint for last few weeks. I see that when I have the blackberry little tilted between neck & shoulder ( for eg - talking when working on your laptop, or when you are at some register to get your wallet )
in these situations , my voice is broken & the other person cannot listen at all.
I checked & thought it might be the cover, so removed it , it didn't help.

The mircrophone for tour is at bottom, so I guess that might be the possible issue.I went back & changed the blackberry but the new one also has the same problem. I may have the habit of holding my cell in that way , but I have never faced this problem with any other phone.

Is this known issue ? Has anyone faced similar problem ? Any suggestion ?

Thanks
SRD

Default

The mic is a noise canceling directional mic, so it needs to be in the proper speaking position for your voice to be heard clearly.

Default So will it not work in tilt position ?

From the reply to my post, it seems like due to the noise cancelling MIC, if one holds the phone like me( Or may its just my way of holding it ) , it will not work in that position. If thats the case only changing the model will help or may don't use blackberry.

Any solutions ?

Thanks
