When I lose a call there is an aggravating alert sound. Is there any way of changing that? Too loud and annoying, thanks.

You want to learn about Profiles, if you don't already. On my provider's system, it seems the missed call/voicemail alert uses the SMS profile, I think. You may have to experiment.

Profiles is an app on the home screen, or it may be in a folder. Have you changed tones for your phone ringtone, for example? Same deal, except so far as I know there is not a profile for missed calls like there is for calendar, phone, messages, etc. As I say, it doubles up on something like SMS or MMS.

popeye13 - do you mean the loud sound when a call you are on drops?

I believe that is carrier controlled and can't be changed.

Not a Missed Call - a dropped call, right?
