I received my Sprint Tour last week and now use it with my swisscom sim-card in switzerland. Everything works fine, Phone, Messages, BB Services,...
However, everytime I switch it on, a message indicating some "provisioning" (don't know what this is, something CDMA specific? We only use GSM) status appears. This process always fails. Is there a way to get rid of this message?

Have you tried setting the network option so that it only operates on GSM/UMTS?

Yes I did. Didn't help.

If it's trying to provision, that means it's still trying to use CDMA. You might need to get into the programming screen and change the mobile directory number to your number. Check out this thread: Remove "Activation Required" from Tour display This thread is about removing the "activation required" message, but both things are related to CDMA vs. GSM.
