Ok, I'm new at this, but (with Verizon for a carrier) I checked for wireless updates, and it said there weren't any available. I'm running .61 now. Should I go to blackberry.com rather than trying to do it over the air thru Verizon?

This thing is way better than my Palm Centro, but the learning curve is steeper too

If you're not having any issues with .61 then you should probably skip .65
I'm running .57 and I see no need to to this update.

Yeah I installed it and since then my headphone/handsfreejack doesn't work which sucks cause my phone is also my mp3 player if anyone knows how to solve this I'd love u long time haha

Any reason why this isn't working? I tried getting 4.7.1.65 and only .61 loads.

Anyone know if the issue of contact alerts not making the audible ring tone when holstered still exists in this? It is in the previous 4.7 releases except for the original .40.

It seemed that the difference between the two builds is inconsequential. Its good that you left .40. Wait for 5.0

I am trying to pull an update for my phone and it will not release or push the .65 to me. If I install it and my device goes all toasty will verizon call me stupid and tell me to piss off

I have 9630 and i'm having conflicts with my sprint wireless braudband and the BlackBerry desktop manager. I have a Compaq running Vista, anybody have a clue.
