| I did, that wasn't the issue...
After extensive research for the past week, I didn't find anything until last night. Apparently it's a common problem with Fido and the Tour because Fido is a GSM network and they have a special caller id with 'name display' which apparently doesn't mesh well with the Tour (having both CDMA and GSM capabilities, from what I understood). The previous owner was on a CDMA network as well.
So I called them again this morning and the representative I spoke to said there was no way they could remove the 'name display' part and keep the caller id. Miraculously enough, it began working later on in the day. I have no idea what I did or what they did, if anything, but I'm happy now! Anyways, thanks for all your help. |
