Question Adding work e-mail to my Tour

Please Login to Remove!

Trying to add my work e-mail to my new Tour. The work server is using Microsoft Outlook. Tried to just add the e-mail address, but no luck. Any suggestions?

First, how are you trying to add the email account?

See How to add / delete email addresses - BlackBerryFAQ .

If it won't work, it may be that your email server does not allow BIS. At that point I would talk to your IT office.

You didn't say BES in original post. Your are posting in a model-specific forum, not the BES forum. I assumed BIS.

Talk to your IT people.

airharkness, that poster (dearbee) isn't the OP. That poster was just spouting randomness.

To OP, Microsoft Outlook isn't an email type. Is your work using an Exchange Server? Can you access your work email via Outlook Web Access? If not, you need to find out what type of email it is. If so, then you might be able to add your work email by following these steps (if it's not contrary to your work policies).

Oh. My bad. The caffeine hadn't made it to my brain yet. I see now.
