Default How to get rid of email account from home screen

Please Login to Remove!

I just upgraded my 8830 (at work)to a Tour and have one icon on my home screen that I cannot get rid of. The icon is from an email account. When I go into the setup for email, it is not listed. How can I delete this?

Also, on a related subject: When I add personal email accounts, they are listed by the email address. Is there a way to rename these? For example, my home email looks something like this: [email address] and I would like it to show as "Home email"

delete the [CMIME] service book for the email address that the icon is for that you want rid off.

And no, to the second question.

You could create a folder and call it home and then place the email folder in it if that is a look preference rather than a practical one you are after.
