this is my first blackberry. And I'm having a bit of trouble with it.. I don't know if its because I don't know how to use it or its the device.

But none to less I need help!!

1.) I can't seem to download themes. They are being saved in .jad file or I have emailed the link to my phone to dl it. But it always comes up with "invalid code 907" no matter where I dl it from it either transfer through the BB app on the pc,

2.)I have an Activation Required on the top of my phone... even though its an unlocked phone. How can I get rid of that..

You need to install JAD files by going to the JAD link directly in your BlackBerry browser.

If you search for the term "Activation Required" or "Remove Activation Required", you should find the fix for this.

ok.. so I forward' my link. and when i go to dl it from the link... It says "download failed" "907 Invalid Cod"

Do you have a BB data plan?

Yes.. I have a 1gb blackberry data plan w/ Rogers.

Jad files are the "installer" files. The program actually resides in the "COD" files that the "JAD" file references. So to do an offline install. You need the "JAD" and all "COD" files.

ok.... I finally figured it out.. the files i were dl... weren't the whole package.... but now I understand..... Thanks...

I just cant get it activated... I followed the "other steps to find my unlock code"

So this is where I am stuck:

I'm using Unicdma and i'm trying to do #5
(5. Click on Memory Tab, then Enter Starting Address : 0x1067ed90, and Length : 1703936 Dump the memory to a file.6. Open the file, and look for 6 continuous Digits, in that binary file. That is your SPC/MSL code) What happens is my computer goes to the lovely BLUE SCREEN of death. But I wrote down all of the info.

Underneath the security screen in the main option this is what I have:
