Default Going blind trying to read the text, help!

I just got the Tour and love it, except for the fact that I find the type very hard to read. I've tried making the font "extra bold" to darken it up, but that still hasn't helped. i tried bumping up the font size as well, but that didnt help. Any other things I can try? its really starting to hurt my eyes reading emails on this thing!

Larger font... that's it.

Hey, I had to get the ol' reading glasses this past year. Join the crowd, don't fight it, they'll just get worse.

The problem isn't so much with the font size, its more with how its not dark enough or the contrast isnt high enough, know what i mean?

I already got the glasses too

If you are having problems with the font on web pages, do this: open your browser, use the menu key and choose options. Under General Properties see Default View. Change to Column and save.

Makes a big difference on pages in the browser.

You might also try Options > Advanced Options >Accessibility and changing the contrast. The Tour has the highest resolution screen ever offered in a BlackBerry. Resolution is not user-configurable, unfortunately. The next option might be to try a different model with a lower native resolution screen like the 8330.
