Default Disassociating a Sprint Account

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, I just bought a BB 9630 of Ebay. It is a Sprint phone, but I got service with T Mobile. The phone makes calls, texts, and the BB Messenger works. The internet browser does not work, however. I called T Mobile, Blackberry and Sprint. The people at Sprint told me the problem is that the phone is still associated with a Sprint account (even though it is unlocked) because the account the phone is associated with owes money to Sprint. Is there any way around this? I think the phone is tracked by the MEID number. Thanks for any input.

Wait, if BlackBerry Messenger works, all you need to do is follow the instructions Stickied at the top of this forum for using a Storm on ATT or Tmobile... same instructions work for the Tour. I assume your email works ok too?
If all that is true, your device is registered on Tmo and removing any registration from Sprint is no longer needed.
Here:
Unlocked Storm on AT&T or T-Mobile

So the key here is that BlackBerry Messenger, email, PIN messaging etc., works now.
