Default Activate Sprint BB with Verizon

Is it possible to activate a Sprint branded BB 9630 on Verizon? What is involved? I called my local Verizon store, and the sales rep said other customers have done it successfully once the device has been "re-flashed", but she didnít recommend it because sometimes the phone is bricked. Does anyone know how to re-flash a 9630 for Verizon?

The Sales Rep must know something that many, many others don't.
Verizon does not allow devices other than their own on their network.

Yep. It isn't happening. Sell it and purchase a Verizon BlackBerry.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

Whew.... I thought something had changed. No. VZW will only take their own phones as others above mentioned.

Same with Sprint. If it doesn't say "Sprint" on it, they won't activate it. Ever.

You can "flash" these devices to use with carriers like Cricket, but not with another Tier 1 carrier. The technology is compatible, but they all have policies against activating another carrier's device.
