So I plugged my phone into my mac to let it charge a bit, and I get the message that there are updates for my phone (OS 5.0). I proceed with the update, and half way trough desktop manager says that my device is not compatible and kicks my phone off. Now the phone has the white screen of death and a "reload software: 507" message. Now I can't restore or anything.

You guys have any thoughts?

There just aren't many ways (that I know of) to fix something like this from a Mac.

Easiest thing for you to do is find a Windows machine, get BBSAK, download the update, do a wipe, then do a manual install.

Or run Parallels or BootCamp for Window on the Mac if you have absolutely no access to a PC.
