Has anyone else noticed that the lock screen no longer appears on the 5.0 OS? Can anyone tell me how to lock the device (Not Keyboard locking), to display owner information and etc.?
I assume that the device probably requires a password in order to view the lock screen.. Any help is appreciated.

Thats justs the way it is with the newer builds of OS5. If there is a third party app that gives this feature back I would love to know what it is.

There should be an icon labeled "Password Lock". It may be located in a folder somewhere, possibly under Applications. Open that application and it will password lock your device.

I figured it out, to get the lock screen there must be a password on the device. Also, you're correct in calling it "Password Lock" but it's found in the options menu under "Password". Enable the password, and set one of your side buttons to "Password Lock" in the "Sceen and Keybaord" section of Options.
