i have this problem some how i have set custom ring tones for my contacts.
but i didn't set any custom ring tones. do anyone know were they are so I can change them so everybody has the same ring tone.

click on the speaker icon, on the main page then scroll down till you see set ringtones

Click on "Sounds" icon (speaker). Scroll down to "Set Contact Alerts" and select. You should see a list of your contacts with custom alerts. To delete the custom settings, select the desired contact(s), click the Menu key, and then select "Delete."

I'm having a similar problem with custom alerts. Every time I add or edit a contact, I end up with a Contact Alert for that person. I transferred my contacts from another BB device, so I didn't end up with custom alerts for all my contacts, only the new or edited ones. Weird!
