Hi,
Can anyone advise how to recover or display the "Memos" or "Notes" icon?
This is the icon that is sync'd with Outlook 2007's "Notes".
I recently had to re-install my Tour '9630' OS software. Now the icon is gone.
It was on my home screen prior to the os re-install.
"Show All" in Home Screen options does not work.

Load it from BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Be sure that the device OS is installed on the computer first.

Yes. But sometimes the Memo application is not checked by default when you load the OS to the DEVICE.

Does the Memo application show up on the device when you go to Options > Applications > Add-On ?

If it does, then you need to look on the device in ALL your folders.

If it doesn't, then it was NOT loaded to the device. You need to go to the Application Loader of BlackBerry Desktop Manager to install it to the device. Again, the device OS will need to be installed on the COMPUTER first.

I successfully loaded it through app loader in Desktop Manager as you instructed and it worked...thanks again!!!

You can access Memos from the home screen by simply pressing D
To use shortcuts like these you have to have "Dial From Home Screen" set to No. Access that by opening the Phone, using the BlackBerry key (menu key) go select Options > General Options.
