Default Yahoo IM Issue with Tour

Please Login to Remove!

Can anybody help.
On my old blackberry (8800) I could stay logged into Yahoo IM 24/7. On the Tour I can't. Sometimes I stay logged in for a several hours and sometimes I am logged out when the device is locked. I would be ok with this if I wasn't losing (not receiving) messages. Sometimes I am logged off and when I log back in I see the messages that were sent, more often than not though, the messages were received while I was logged in, then I get logged out and when I go back in, they aren't there.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have Yahoo IM on my Tour and I stay logged in for as long as I want to, I have never been logged out, are you in a poor reception area, are you logging in from your desktop, that will force it to log out?

I have content protection enabled on my bb. Do you have that enabled on yours? Verizon seems to think that is the issue but it's a corp policy thing that I can't change, so if that's the issue, I'm just stuck.
