I just got my BB Bold 9650 from Verizon today. I restored from my Tour onto my Bold. My BB Messenger though only has the BB contacts and isnt showing the SMS in the Messenger window like before. How do I get that to go back to were I have the option of SMS (little phone icon) in Messenger?

That articles has some good info about 5.0 but it doesnt address my question regarding BB Messenger. I read an article where it said you could incorporate you BB Messenger and SMS together. I have some contacts that use both Messenger and SMS and I would like to have them together in BB Messenger. It worked initially when I started up my new BB 9650 for the first time but now it doesnt.

You can open BBM and select invite contact > enter an SMS contact.

You can also add contacts to BBM, and then Link them to their contact info saved on your berry.
