Blackberry Browser Won't Save
I recently got a new Tour to replace my Tour with a malfunctioning trackball. I am trying to download my amazon apps - particularly Kindle and it keeps telling me my browser is not supported.

I have attempted many times to change the browser from "internet browser" to "blackberry browser", I save it, but it immediately goes back to "internet browser". Any ideas on how to get this to save properly?

Under general properties my default browser is "blackberry browser", but under browser configuration it is "internet browser" and browser identification is "blackberry".

Not to be a pain, but so I understand, you really want to use the Blackberry rather than Internet Browser? It appears you have VZW as your provider..the internet browser takes you directly over the VZW data network, seperate from any BES environment that you might have...if you are missing some of the browser pieces you can either do a "register now" from options/advanced options/host routing table and/or ask VZW to push out all of the browser service books again...maybe when the did the ESN change, everything didn't come across...

Yes, but I only want to use it for a few minutes to download the Amazon Kindle blackberry app. Amazon is very particular about what browser is able to do the download apparently.
