I have a chat program installed on my blackberry, and every time someone enter to chat I receive a PUSH Notification its like a ring tone that some one enter the chat, even my phone is on vibrate mode, I would like to turn off the Push notification, and instad of ringing I should receive a text message

What does "a chat program" mean? What's the name of the application?

Have you gone into the options/settings of that application to see if changing that is an option?
