I have been playing for this for about a day with no joy. Is there any way to connect these 2 for Internet access point? I have tethering enabled on my phone so I can connect directly to my laptop and use it. But now I need an access point device to use with a tablet.

I am running 6.0 1659 on the bold and have tried multiple firmwares on the PHS300s. The only one that actually recognizes a phone being connected is the 2.5.0 firmware.

Modem info shows the connection status offline and shows the ESN and product for the USB1 Physical Port. When I go to status it states for the Network Status, Incorrectly configured - check logs. There is of course nothing in the log I can find that relates to a misconfiguration.

Anyone have any ideas if there is a way to make my Sprint 9650 into an access point with either this device or had success with something else?
