I'm getting this option to update through Desktop Manager for a Verizon 9650, but I am running it on T-Mobile so haven't updated yet, as I don't think doing an "auto" update through the Desktop Manager allows me to remove the Vendor files...

I haven't been able to find a direct link to the download yet.

Not sure what the direct link is, but VZN has it on their site (BlackBerry® Software Updates). I am downloading now.
