Style Trackpad Issue
 

I just recently traded in my Curve 8530 for the Style, and it seems that when I try to type a text message the trackpad likes being a jerk and massively scrolls up while I'm typing, and occasionally scroll left which exits me out of the message I'm typing.

seriously, any help regarding this would be appreciated

also, whenever I try to send a text message, it will not send and will say Mobile Equipment Status Failed. Then I reset my phone and it works? it's quite annoying having to do that every 30 minutes.

Also when going into a text conversation, it scrolls all the way up to the top of the thread by itself and I have to close it out and go back to it again for it to be at the most recent text, which is also annoying cause it happens 90% of the time.

any help? please?

Never heard of that error. Perhaps you have bad hardware.

well I've restored it a little while ago and it seems ok, just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't do it again

I have the exact same problem! I need to figure out a new way for texting and using my qwerty. My fingers can't be close to the trackpad (that's impossible) I don't know what to do. I went to sprint and they want to sell me a replacement phone.

I've had that happen once. I think I did it, it was some shortcut I inadvertently activated, but I can't remember what it is. I think there is some shortcut to make it go to the start of a conversation......darn old age!
