Anyone have issues with this app? Loads very slow and takes a while to play the music. I have version 1.1.7

You'll have to define slow.

I just tested on a 9700 running OS 5 and it takes 10-11 seconds to launch and begin playing when using wifi.

I will say there have been times when connected via the mobile network that I thought it was taking a long time to load. But I don't have any problems with the app.

By slow I mean about 30 to sixty seconds on WIFI and over a minute on mobile network

I haven't timed it on the mobile network, but I would say there have been times it took 30 seconds or more to load and begin playing. I don't use it enough on the BlackBerry to be able to say what is the rule and what is the exception.

Thirty seconds on wifi is a long time, though, and much longer than I found in my test just a minute ago.

You might try a hard reset, of course. And also look at what apps you have running at the same time, particularly any apps you have set to run in the background when closed.

Will do, what other like apps other than Pandora have you tried?

I use Slacker Radio and it runs fine.

I will try that instead

Slacker is popular.

I think Pandora is unique in what it does. I don't know of any other app "like" it, unless the similarity is simply streaming audio.
