I am upgrading from a curve to a new Bold 9700. I use this phone with my personal yahoo mail account. This online yahoo email account has about 1500 email messages. Is there a way I can download all of these email messages into the new Bold 9700 and make sure they stay online on the email server and don’t get deleted? The issues I want to make sure all of the older emails make it to the 9700. I notice some of these email messages are in the exisiting curve. But I am planning on wiping my curve. I am using Windows. Thanks for any insights.

Try this, I think it will work . . . If the emails are in the inbox, move them out, into a temporary folder or wherever, just out of the inbox. If the emails are not in the inbox, fine. Now, move the emails back to the inbox. BIS should see them again and grab them. This assumes you have your yahoo email in BIS.

I've done something like this before and the emails were pushed to my blackberry when moved into the inbox. Test it for yourself on a small scale before you proceed. Hope it works for you.
