Yahoo Messenger "service not enabled for this handheld"

I have a 9700 bold and i cant connect to Ymessenger and it says "service not enabled for this handhel". Im from Italy, my network provider is TRE(3) Italia. Can anyone help me? :cry:

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?
Maybe your provider does not allow this application?
