Exclamation how to clear windows live messenger log in ID from your blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Can anybody here tell me how to clear traces of your previously log in IDs in windows live messenger and yahoo messenger from you Blackberry.

Because they seemed to keep records of previously logged in IDs in WLM and YM program.

How can I clear the field so that it looks back like new with empty field and no more traces of previously entered/logged in IDs.

thank you.

Plug in the device to your PC and open Backup/Restore Advanced in Desktop Manager. In the right hand side pane, clear the database labeled RMS database. You will lose data in some of your other 3rd party apps, though.

With the current version all previously logged/entered IDs will be recorded forever in the "auto fill".

The previous version did not do that. it always cleared out any entered ID's from the "auto fill"

Did you try what I suggested? Most (but not all) of those apps use the RMS database for the data. If you clear it out, it's gone. Give it a try and see.

Okey John I will give it a try. I was just thinking wether theres a simpler way to do it (ie. straight from your blackberry device) because the previous version of WLM and YIM didnt have this issue. So it is not a bug then..it is just the way they are made to be this time around. thanks anyway John for the input.

I removed the previous loggers on my MSN by uninstalling it, rebooting, and reinstalling it.

I know that this is "overkill" but this is what was suggested to me by someone from either this forum or another forum.
