Default DM crash each time BB is connected

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all the ccfuu & senior members

I have a concern here that my DM always "crash" everytime my BB is connected via USB. 'm using VISTA and the DM i'm currently using was being given when i purchased this device.

Not sure wats wrong or have i missed out something.........before i can even click the option to switch the connection another window will pop saying tat either i close the program or search online for solutions and close the program.........................

Need all ccfuu & senior members to guide this lost soul....

Go here (https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...3779A17ADF1707) and download the latest version of the BB desktop manager software
- currently v 5.01.

1. Check event viewer in windows; look for the time that it crashes. Maybe an incompatibility with your OS & HH model.

2. Check drivers are listed in device manager when the HH is connected to the PC - without running Desktop Manager (run DM first and disable it to auto launch when BB is connected; countless times I've seen this enabled in corporate installations and wondered WHY as its such a pain to unselected; hundreds of PCs).

3. As suggested above follow that as well.
