Default BB 9700 - Stuck in reboot loop - can't wipe

heya,

I was given a BB 9700, which was apparently moisture damaged previously.

Anyhow, it's been dried out, and I'm attempting to start it up now.

It does start up - the red light comes on, and then it goes to the black loading screen with the progress bar.

However, it stops about halfway through, and then just reboots, and does it again and again, looping.

I thought of using BBSAK to wipe the device, however, the problem is, as soon as the device reboots, Windows stops detecting it. Then, when it reboots, Windows detects it again, you go to click "Connect" in BBSAK, however, by the time it ticks around to try to connect to it, the device has already hit the halfway point in the progress screen, and rebooted.

So BBSAK never manages to connect to the device, it just reboots too quickly.

In there any other way to stop this loop, and force a wipe of the device? OR any other way of somehow getting it back to a useable state? Hoping the moisture wasn't too extensive.

I have the exact same problem. I have done a lot of research and nothing works.
