Hi peoples
I have 2 icons in top of blackberry 9700 that's been ther annoying me tried everything

One is little circle with arrow pointing down leftish in the middle and has # 2 next to it.
Other is like the browser icon except its yellow

I have tried looking to c if anything needs upgrading but to no avail

App world update
Browser push message.

hi now that i understand wat it means i still cant get rid of them please explain how?
also i have nothing to update cant c anything that needs updating

Not sure about the App World Update...

If nothing in App World, or app world itself needs updating (app world-my world and see if it has anything to update); then look in your MESSAGES folder for a message about an app world update, and delete.

Ok thanks all but guess wat prib still there. The browser pic is gone but circle with arrow pointing down still there. Cheked all and can't findd apps that need updating and appworld seems to not have asterix so don't understand wat it is

If not, do a battery pull and see if it goes away.

I had the same problem as you, the Apps update was showing even tho there was no available update. There weren't any messages unread as well.

My service provider said it was a s/w bug. So i left it be, it went away after 2 weeks. :s
