First off, let me start out by introducing myself! I'm new to the forums and I just recently purchased a Bold 2 about a month back. I was a long time iPhone user before that and haven't looked back ever since the switch. I friggin' love my BB.

Unfortunately, I've been having this problem of my phone freezing at least once a week since the time of purchase though. They are random as far as I can tell and nothing specific triggers this problem. As a new phone that's less than a month old, I feel like I shouldn't be having this problem.

Do you think I should go into the AT&T store and ask for a new phone? or do you think they'll be a pain in the ass about it? I have their insurance plan...

Do a battery pull, and see if you get freezing after that.

i've done multiple battery pulls and it just resets the phone, never a permanent solution to the problem...

all you need to do to make sure your phone will not freeze is, just make sure all the applications you open to close properly via menu button

Try checking on the SD Memory card, too. It's possibly not inserted properly.

my phone freezes after playing a certain song... so i just deleted the song...

My daughter bought the 9700 about 3 weeks ago from AT&T, and it froze multiple times everyday. After 3 days we updated to beta OS I believe 545, and there have been no problems since.
