Thumbs down BB Bold 9700, Pause during dialing

Please Login to Remove!

if you have a ROGERS Canada BB Bold 9700 you can't dial any pause on the dialing number if is more than one unless you save it on you phone book, the option on the menu for Wait or Pause do not work at all.

ex. +1 905 555-5555ppp*999*222#ppp1-888-9999

so if you have a calling card(which the code always change), calling your operator for long distance calls(where the last set of number always change); you need to save it every time for this to work, you can just dial as it is

That really sucks!, and they call it the smart Phone????

The only down this I have find it so far, I will keep testing the phone just for fun!

use a comma to insert a pause.

Example:

1-800-123-4567,,54345

only works from the phone book, not when you type the actual number from the main screen.

Rogers support didnt knew about this until yesterday

I am confused about your premise... what are you doing/trying to do? Why would you need to enter a PAUSE delay when you are dialing from the main screen? It's "real time", so just wait for the length of the pause... what am I missing here?

ok usually on my old phone, I go back just to my recent calls and edit just the last 10 digits as you can see on my example
ex. +1 905 555-5555ppp*999*222#ppp1-888-9999
This is because I have a special number to dial some overseas or USA/CANADA numbers by dialing local one
