I'm currently on Fido with an unlocked Bell 9700 and I went to the US yesterday with the intent on using it for GPS. However, I was stuck on emergency calls only and had no data access even though the mobile network was listed as ATT. Data services while roaming were turned on.

I called Fido from a pay phone and they confirmed that I had no blocks on my account and they also reset my network settings for me. I did a battery and SIM pull, but still no dice. I've never had problems with roaming when using this SIM card with different phones before.

I may be heading back to the US soon, so any help would be much appreciated!!
