Default Bold 9700 OTA working? (Carrier AT&T)

Has anyone had any problems with the OTASL version 5.0.0.405 (Apps) / 5.1.0.112 (Platform) / 5.0.0.645 (Package) for the Bold 9700?

I am a BES admin and can confirm that my IT-policy allows for approved carrier OS updates. The policy allows my other devices (mostly 9000's) to update wirelessly. The Bold 9700 in question is a branded AT&T model, confirmed vendor ID is AT&T, has the latest IT-policy, and has the previous AT&T approved device OS [5.0.0.296 (Apps) / 5.1.0.83 (Platform) / 5.0.0.463 (Package)] to upgrade from.

I've checked some of AT&T's forums and I do see other users having the same problem with the updates, but have not seen anything here in these forums. I am assuming the issue lies with AT&T? RIM support seems to indicate this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm running BES 5.0.1 w/Exchange 2007 remote SQL all running VM's.

Whew...as you can seee by the original post date, this has been a long time in finding a resolution. I finally got my official answer.

While the Bold 9700 does upgrade, it does not upgrade to the original path listed by RIM and AT&T. There is a new path documented in the screen catpure.
