Hi everyone, I recently (2 weeks) bought an Otterbox defender case for my new bold 9700, well, as a bad design would have it, the holster side clips broke!
I have had 3 different otterbox defenders and they were all amazing cases and protected my phones in a heavy construction occupation. I will have the holster replaced soon but my problem is the holster itself, I think its very unsafe to carry a phone in this hazard as after 2 weeks the clips would barely hold the phone in! The bed pocket that the phone sits in is WAY to shallow, and the clips have no holding strength. What I need is a leather case like the factory one but much thicker to take the extra girth of the defender case. Has anyone had a problem with this new Defender case? And has anyone found a better holster for it?

I called Otterbox Service dept' and they are sending a new holster. Too bad it will happen again and again, even the rep said it has been the worst holster they have released, and don't know how and why it is not being updated or replaced with something that works. Nonetheless, the service is first rate and Otterbox is a very good company.
