Default Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place!

I've got a shift pattern printed out from work and I've taken a picture of it so I've always got a copy with me. I want to put them into my calendar on my 9700 as it'd be easier/more convinient to check when I'm working. Entering these manually onto the calendar will take an age, especially when I'm putting in more than a months worth.... is there anyway I can do it on the pc/laptop and import it into my bb? Also the shift pattern is generally a 4 week pattern, so really I could copy and paste every 4 weeks.

Props to suggestions on the best way to do this - thanks!

Put it into Outlook Calendar and then sync to the BB

MS Outlook doesn't come with Vista basic - there's only windows mail.

Or am I missing something here? Ahaha

You are correct. So I can assume that you do not have MS Office on your computer? I am not a Vista user.

Another option would be to set up a Google Calendar and enter it there and then use Google Calendar sync to sync to the BB.

And please update your profile to add your current cell carrier. It helps when you have trouble.

You can also set the recurrence to every 4 weeks for your shifts.

I also recommend setting up Google Calendar and Google Sync.

For me, I have both an iPhone 3GS and a Bold 9700 and what I like about using Google Calendar is that both my devices automatically get my schedule.

If you were to switch to a different smartphone, your calendar would be seamlessly integrated/synced over the air either via the carrier's network or via Wi-Fi.

Default Shift Rota on your Blackberry

You could try mobilerota.com (Google it to find website) it is free to try it out and only 4.99 if you decide to subscribe. You will be able to see your pattern nice and clear, month by month as far into the future as you want to go! As I said, free to try it out on your phone so there's nothing to lose by giving a go.

Contact me for more help if needed.
