Hello everybody,

I just have some inquiries about BB.
As I am not BB user & going to buy new BB device, could you plz advise me on some informations..
I am thinking to buy BB Bold9700, but the problem is that I do not know what should I be aware when I am buying
For example:
1- Warranty "How long for the normal warranty?", (Do you know how to check the warranty for certain country?)
2- Made in which country "Canada, Mexico, Hungary or which country?"
3- How many language does it support? "Since I have some friends from several countries so it will be easy for me to read or write as other languages than English"
4-What the content of the box?
Please provide me some information to be as a guide for me.
I will appreciate your help if anyone of you can advise & looking forward for your kind reply as soon as you can.

Thanks & Regards

And those for European markets are often made in Hungary.

As for box contents, that also differs from carrier to carrier, and country to country.
Check with the carrier's website that you are planning to buy from.

Default SMS Messages Erased and No More Keyboard

Hi Guys,

I installed .593 and now a lot of my SMS messages have mysteriously disappeared and there is no more "Keyboard Lock" option for the convenience keys.

What;s going on?

The keyboard lock issue has been discussed ad nauseum here... I'm guessing that you didn't search or read anything before jumping in and installing the latest OS, correct?

Can't say for sure about the message issue without more information.

thought they were complaining about the top buttons as opposed to the convenience keys on the side.

with regards to the SMS thing, i'm not sure what happened. I just know that all of a sudden, the texts I had gotten from timmy, tommy and joey that day were no longer there, and that the long histories I had with danny and moe were also erased. Then, when I went back to look at texts from a few months back, I noticed a bunch of them were blank. So you know when you're looking at your SMS inbox and it says

David Ellis (Work)
Hi there.

All of a sudden there a bunch of texts that looked like

David Ellis (Work)
<Blank>

Then when you opened up the text, there was nothing there!

Sigh... and I was so happy cause I thought the SMS was finally functioning stably
