Default Issue with recurring reminder on 9700

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I set a reminder on my phone a week ago, just a once off, I must have then deleted the reminder because I can't see it in my calendar anymore (I sync with gcal and can't see it there either).

However, everyday now I am getting the same recurring reminder pop-up, even though I can't find it in my calendar.

Anyone had a similar issue? Any ideas on how to get rid if it?

Thanks

China

Did you try a battery pull when the BB is on? try it.

Try this and see if you have the reminder in a different calendar.

Multiple calendars
About multiple calendars
If your BlackBerry® device is associated with multiple email accounts, you might have multiple calendars on your device. For example, if your
device is associated with a work email account and a personal email account, you might be able to view your work calendar and your personal
calendar on your device. If you have multiple calendars on your device, you can schedule and manage appointments and meetings in each
calendar.
Switch calendars
1. On the Home screen, click the Calendar icon.
2. Press the Menu key.
3. Click Select Calendar.
4. Click a calendar.

Thanks for the help

Neither of those worked. I did however notice that in my clock app on the bottom right I have a clock icon with the time that my alarm is set for, and the left is an icon looking suspiciously like a calendar with the time that the offending reminder goes off, but I can't see an option to delete it. Any ideas?

I would take a screenshot if I knew how

check to see if you have an alarm set to go off each day or time this happens.

Yes I checked this, and there might be something going on here, as per my previous post

There's got to be a solution.

That being said, I am giving myself till Friday to sort this out then it's factory setting time.

T-4 and counting.

Fixed it, it was an alarm but for some reason I couldn't delete it through the clock app. I went to my calendar settings and noticed I had it set to not show alarms, when I changed this setting there it was on my calendar - delete.

Anybody know if there is a thread here regarding the problem with syncing with google contacts where it duplicates your handheld contacts?
