Default 9700 Will not Start Up

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 9700 which has suddenly stopped working.

When I power on the device it starts its boot up process and I see the BB symbol and loading bar. It gets to about 75% loaded then it does not proceed any further?

Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks,

Javaloader...and reload the OS. That WILL fix your problem. Without the Javaloader/Wipe...you may still experience the same issue, even after an OS reload /upgrade.

Many thanks,

I have tried to use the Javaloader and this has yet to work for me. I have also tried app loader wipe.

It says cannot find port whenever I try to use app loader or the java thingy.

Yet still my BB is not wiped. Any help greatly appreciated else back to the store it will go I think!

Default Check the cable...

Hi,

I had similar issues, with the phone not being recognized and the port issue, but when I changed the cable it solved my problem. Use the original USB cable that came with the device!
Also make sure to try a couple of times, connect a couple of times, use different USB ports... eventually it will work. This is an OS issue and you should be able to fix it!

My phone is bricked?

Good luck!
