Default can't install apps or app world. E-mail setup doesn't work either...

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,
I bought my BB bold 9700 yesterday. I've never had a BlackBerry before, so I'm a new user.
When I wanted to complete the e-mail setup, I couldn't choose between "create or add an emailadress" and "work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise server", i just got the last option and that's it.
I can't install blackberry app world either... They say my BB isn't up for that. I downloaded the 5.0.1 version with the Blackberry Desktop Manager, so I'm pretty sure the version isn't the problem. With the desktop manager, i've tried to install facebook for bb and windows live messenger, it works just fine, untill they say that i can't log in because i haven't got a dataservice.

Who can help me out? What can i do to enjoy my brandnew BB to the maximum without a BIS-account (as there is no possibility in Belgium to have this with the mobile providor i'm working with)?

Greetings,
Liz
(if anyone wants to help me by BlackBerry Messenger (the only app that actually works!): my pin is 219FD02F)

You need a Blackberry data plan from your carrier.

Thanks for the answer, I called my providor, suddenly they are able to give me a Blackberry Internet option. They say it will be activated in 24 hours.
What will I have to do then? Reboot the phone, or will everything come automatically?

Do a battery pull and the servers should do the rest.
