Default Bold 9700 trackpad doesn't work

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I dropped my blackberry 9700 and the trackpad doesn't work anymore when trying to go in any direction.
I have replaced the trackpad with one that works from another phone with still no luck.
I don't have warrenty anymore on the phone so I can't bring it back to get replaced.
Anyone have any idea's to fix it?
Thanks.

Smile Trackball not working

had the same problem, trackball not working, sent for repairs but was told had to change the entire phone. It seems BB don't support parts replacement.

You might try a pad for a 9700. I would order one from a parts seller. Plenty on the internet. available for about $10.00 to $ 20.00
