hello guys, i just got bb 9700 and was about to install the new software, but when i insert the device, the desktop manager it keeps asking me for a password, which i“ve never changed in the first place, i tried my phone password but that not it, any recomendations how to remove that? thx in advance ....now on the phone it says " ENTER "BLACKBERRY" TO CONTINUE ", and it“s my final attemp, i need help plz ...peace..
no i cannot. suddenly when i connected the bb to the computer now it just keeping asking me for that password and i dont know in the first place :(. and what would happen if i enter the wrong password in the last attempt? would the device be unusable anymore? lol im scared , lol i just got it haha ..damn i“ve had bb since 2006, i feel so noob :( ...peace..
nope when i disconnect the device from the computer, the same message appears on the phone ĖNTER BLACKBERRY TO CONTINUE and then asked for the password i dont know, and before it just asked me for my phone password ... thing started to be messed up when i connected the device in the computer :/ ...peace...
When you enter the incorrect password 10 times, it will wipe all of the data from the device.
You have a password on your phone. Most common issue like this is people think their password is numbers when it is actually letters. For example, if you think your password is 1234 but you never press the alt key to enter your password on the device, the password is actually wers.

yes you are right, thx for the tip, i tried that also. but since is a new device i dont have any information in it, so if enter the wrong password several time, will the device still gonna work? , that“s my entire concern :P ...peace....
