Can you open your blackberry password regardless of Desktop Manager?

If so, remove your password from your BB and try to get the Desktop Manager to read your PIN again.

When disconnected from the desktop manager, can you still open your blackberry with your password?

When you enter the incorrect password 10 times, it will wipe all of the data from the device.

You have a password on your phone. Most common issue like this is people think their password is numbers when it is actually letters. For example, if you think your password is 1234 but you never press the alt key to enter your password on the device, the password is actually wers.
