i spilled some water on the keypad and now the buttons are acting weird as well as the track pad.
1)when i press w it goes wh
2)l goes to lh
3)h goes to hl
4)g goes to gh
5)s goes to sh

when i enter the menu in trackpad and i select something, it automatically presses the trackpad again.
i already tried a hairdryer and it didnt help. whats the best thing to do from here?

my 9000 had the same problem - it was fine when it dried out after 24 hours.

Sooo..... what if it DOESN'T work fine after it dries out? Time for a new BB? I have the same issue on my 9630.

If insurance does not cover water damage and you are not eligible for an upgrade, and you can't afford to pay $300 to $400 for a new phone - then you can replace a keyboard membrane. You can get them for a few $$$ on eBay and find dis-assembly videos on youtube.

I did it to my wife's 9700 and it works perfectly with a new membrane.
