I would start by reviewing your service books to ensure you activated the email propery. Go to settings > options > advanced options > service books. Do you see anything in there referencing the email address?

You also may want to try to hit the blackberry button (left of scroll) and "show all"

You may want to try popping the battery.

Do you not see your messages folder at all?

In my Service Book, there are some configured services like i am trying to setup Yahoo email and in Service book i can see " YahooIM VPL [BrowserConfig]". Similarly there are other services as well.
In my Email Settings, i can see my newly created email ID. And i can see and browse messaging folder. Problem is i can't see Email Icon at home screen. :(

I meant which one, but I assume from your reply you mean both.

Like someone else said hit the menu key and click on "show all". I would also check the subfolders such as the "messaging" one.

Pull the battery.

Try removing the email account and re-adding it.
