Exclamation Problem; Java Error

I recently bought a used Blackberry Bold 9700 and didn't back it up onto my computer. Within a few days i received a JVM Error 102. I went through the process of wiping my phone with a JL_ Cmder and downloading the software. I also downloaded the Blackberry Manager and Blackberry Desktop. Once i had the software downloaded i started the process to upload that software onto my phone. Everything was going great but when it reached step 3 of 5 a notification popped up and read that the device had been disconnected from the computer. I tried to restart the process but that didn't help at all. What should i do?

If you are using a usb hub, keyboard usb port, or something like that, use a usb connection on the computer. If you are using a netbook or laptop, make sure it isn't powering off the usb port.

i have been using a direct usb connection to the computer the entire time, i re-tried but it is still not working.

What's the status of the USB. Have you troubleshot the computer and verified there is not a fault with the USB?
