Default Question About 6.0 Home Screen

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to turn off the Favorites, Downloads, Frequent, Media portion of the home screen? I just want the "All" option.

Thanks!

Yeah but it sucks that they dont have an option..the minute you slide your finger too far to the right or left no matter where you are on the home screen it swiches to media or favs or downloads....

Exactly why I asked! You overshoot the far left or far right, and youre in a whole other screen. And it isn't like this is the fastest, most respnsive OS haha.

I don't know if a future firmware update would allow to disable that feature otherwise we'll have to wait for themes to come out.

I have no problem with it sliding when ur on the title bar ie. "All" "favorites" ect. But it shouldn't be sliding over when ur on an app icon and u scroll far right or left. That's goofy imo.

We need to keep b*tchin about it and hopefully the official OS6 release for the 9700 will address that...along with a bunch of other issues.

That's like the biggest blunder on OS6. Some really dumb thinking there by an overzealous group of engineers who have no clue how a user interacts with a BB. There should be a switch to disable this stupid feature. They tried to make it transparent but failed completely.
